What is System Built Housing?

The System Built Housing process utilizes the most advanced construction technology to produce homes of the highest available structural integrity, construction quality, and value. In stark contrast to traditional "on-site" construction method, these homes are built in a factory environment, eliminating damage and loss due to inclement weather, theft and vandalism, all which plague conventional site builders and the cost of which gets passed on to the consumer.

You can select a home from a vast variety of home plans ranging from 1200 sq. ft. to estate-size homes reaching well beyond 7,000 sq. ft. in size. Alternatively, if you already have a custom home plan that meets your specific needs, your plan can be re-engineered by the factory to be built in sections that are then shipped to the home site and hoisted into position onto the foundation and completed by a local construction contractor. The number of sections depends on the size and complexity of the home design, but can be as few as 1 or 2 sections, and as many as 12 or more.

Another concern to many homebuyers is time. Again, because of the tightly controlled construction process, no time is wasted waiting for sub-contractors to arrive on site, scheduling issues, and labor problems, a System Built Home is completed in as little as 1/3 rd of the time that it takes to complete a site built project. Time is money.

Because these homes are built in a controlled environment, there are no problems relating to damage, theft, waste, labor shortages, lack of qualified labor, and time wasted waiting for material being delivered to the site. The bottom line is that the homeowner gets a home of superior construction quality and structural integrity, for a substantially lower investment than more traditional building method.
